About Night Out In Manneh!
Night Out In Manneh! is a Frogger-style dodging game set on a Saturday night in Manchester. Tony's just left the Haçienda reunion and has until 23:59 to catch the last train home from Piccadilly. Hop him across five streets, from Whitworth Street West to Station Approach, past buses, trams, e-bikes, bouncers, a hen do conga, a pickpocket, a street preacher and an awful lot of dog muck. The soundtrack builds from a baggy Madchester groove to full Haçienda acid house as you get closer to the station.
How to play Night Out In Manneh!
- Press Leg it! to start.
- Hop Tony up the screen, one square at a time.
- Dodge the traffic, trams, dog muck and everyone else. Tony has three pints of dignity, and each hit costs one.
- Grab power-ups: chips for speedy hops, a brolly for puddles, a pasty that soaks up one hit, a pint for extra dignity and proper shoes to get past the bouncers.
- Cross all five streets and reach Piccadilly Station before the 23:59 leaves.
Tips
Watch the clock as well as the traffic, because the 23:59 won't wait. Grab the pasty before the busiest roads, and wait for a gap in the trams rather than chancing it.
